Baptism

Once you accept JESUS as your Lord and Savior. There are important steps to take to get the full benefit GOD is offering you.

Salvation – Breaks the penalty of sin
Water Baptism – Breaks the power of sin
Baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT – Offers the power to demonstrate God’s will

Water Baptism is a declaration that you have died to your old sin nature and are resurrected into your new GOD loving nature. You are no longer a slave to sin. You now have a choice if you will sin or not. Water baptism gives you the power to stop sinning.

Baptism of HOLY SPIRIT “take hold of the gift of Holy Spirit.” When we receive Jesus as our Savior we also receive the gift of Holy Spirit. When we allow the Spirit to lead us we will grow in the fruits of the Spirit. It’s so much more than just receiving the gift of the Spirit.

When they heard this they were crushed and realized what they had done to Jesus. Deeply moved, they said to Peter and the other apostles, “What do we need to do, brothers?”
Peter replied, “Repent and return to God, and each one of you must be baptized in the name of Jesus, the Anointed One, to have your sins removed. Then you may take hold of the gift of the Holy Spirit. For God’s promise of the Holy Spirit is for you and your families, for those yet to be born and for everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” ~Acts 2:37-39 TPT
