I had a great upbringing, thanks to the best single mom in the world. She raised seven kids on her own and often worked two jobs to provide for us. My dad, however, was very violent and abusive toward my mom and sisters. He was also a horrible alcoholic. When I was around 5 or 6, he went to prison, and my mom moved us from Texas to Missouri to get away from him. Even before his death about five years ago, I never heard from him again.
All my siblings are older than me, so they were like additional parents to me growing up. I got arrested in 2021 when my son was only two months old, and my daughter was 3. The last time I saw my son was when I was furloughed out of custody to take him off life support. That experience has left me deeply depressed.
My daughter is my everything—she’s all I have left. My dream is to be the best mom in the world for her and to give her the love and stability she deserves.
I absolutely love the color pink.
My favorite foods are ‘everything’ pizza and stuffed bell peppers.
